Kate’s sock

Friday, September 29th, 2006

I’ve finished one of her socks! The other will be exactly opposite of this one colourwise. But, I really like it. The additional two stitches between patterns adds to it, I think.

The real bonus? She likes it. YAY!

Kittie: sweet!!!
Her Sweetie: that’s knitted?
Kittie: yeah
Kittie: I’m ordering the pattern right now LOL
Her Sweetie: neato
Her Sweetie: that’s some skills.
Kittie: yeah – AND, I happen to have enough of the recommended yarn to make it without having to buy more yarn **bounces happily**…not that I’ll ever really complain about buying yarn LOL
Her Sweetie: hehee…crackfiend

Seriously, though…you cannot tell me this isn’t worth getting bouncy about:

I stumbled onto this scrumptious find at Dave’s blog via Cassie’s.

Yup, yup…I sooooo want to make this shawl. Once I do, how much you want to bet I sit down and try to figure out how to make a tiger shawl? I know the perfect person to give one to.
